Colour Matching

 Colour matching is vitally important as it is the colour of the tooth restored that will have the greatest impact on the final result.

 RWD Dental Image has set the benchmark as to how Dental Laboratories should present. At our facility a custom built clinic has been built to provide us with the best possible light to make a colour match to the rest of the patient's teeth.

Patients are greeted by our professional staff in reception , aquainted with the procedure and then made to feel welcome and comfortable in our shade takeing clinic. Digital photographs are taken and series of colour tabs used to closest match the colour of the natural tooth. All digital photos are held on record and help with the contrasts, value, hue and chroma when making the restoration.

Front teeth are the most difficult teeth to match and we encourage patients to sometimes come back for a second or third visit just to get the result we all happy with.
